We’ll Walk Together

Telling your story and being heard creates so many pathways to emotional awareness and regulation. Let’s work together to develop attainable goals to deal with issues that may be interfering with your daily life.

Services.

Preconception.

Having a Licensed Therapist to process your thoughts and feelings surrounding parenthood can be helpful. I am dedicated to working through issues that arise when considering pregnancy whether you are a couple or single parent by choice. Book a session and let’s explore what works best for you at this time.

Infertility.

Reproductive difficulties affect more families than one can imagine. Struggling to conceive is often an invisible struggle that’s met with lack of understanding, pressured society expectations, and complicated grief. Your story is important and this is one aspect of your story that is as significant as the outcome. You are enough and what you’re doing is enough. You are worthy. Let’s affirm this together.

Miscarriage. Stillbirth.

Many women experience miscarriage before even telling anyone that their pregnant. Some women experience feelings of unbearable sadness, shame, guilt, and desperation. It can be difficult to express let alone get others to understand that this loss is just as significant as having experienced the loss of a child after a live birth. Let’s work through the pain and create new pathways to healing.

Postpartum.

Being a parent is hard. I’m a mama, I know firsthand. Trying to juggle this new transition while being in your other roles can be met with sadness, loneliness, feeling sleep deprived, not being able to bond, flooding thoughts, and so much more. The responsibility you’re holding is so great that sometimes during this stage help is needed. Develop skills to manage your thoughts and feelings while strengthening the beliefs that support you as a parent.

Elective Termination.

Making the decision to electively terminate a pregnancy is a huge one to make. Whether you feel alone, guilt, embarrassment or a mix of emotions—your support is here. There’s a community within Southeast Perinatal Counseling that will hold space for you to grieve, feel heard, and whole again.

Infant Hospitalizations & Diagnosis.

Being hospitalized and receiving a diagnosis is certainly scary, especially when it involves your little one. The clinical information alone can seem overwhelming let alone wrestling with this new reality. I have experience counseling parents who are dealing with this issue. The feelings of sadness, worry, desperation, unknown, and more—don’t have to be yours alone. I’ve been there as a mama and can be there with you.

Women’s Issues.

It can be tough to navigate life as you’re moving towards healing and discovering who you are. There are so many issues that women face and it’s important for you to feel safe and heard as you work through these issues. You are not alone. The negative thoughts and being uncertain of what tomorrow looks like can be scary but it is common when you’re experiencing stressors. Let’s process this together and establish ways to manage and integrate changes where you feel empowered and in control.
